Art Consignment: Contract 1. What This Is This agreement is between Co-Space LLC (“Gallery”) and the artist listed in the “Your Details” section (“Artist”). By signing, the Artist lets Co-Space sell their artwork for the agreed period. The Artist won’t sell the same piece elsewhere during this time. The artwork still belongs to the Artist until it’s sold. 2. Pricing & Payment The Artist sets a suggested price for their artwork. When the artwork sells, the Artist gets 70% of the sale price. Payments go via electronic deposit within 14 days to the account provided by the Artist. The Artist is responsible for giving correct payment info; Co-Space isn’t liable for delays caused by mistakes. 3. Artwork Safety Co-Space is not responsible for loss or damage while the artwork is in the gallery, from delivery to sale or return. 4. Copyright & Promotion The Artist keeps all copyrights. Co-Space may take photos to promote the artwork, always crediting the Artist as creator. 5. Timeline & Returns Consignment lasts 90 days. The Artist can’t request a return during this time unless Co-Space breaks the agreement. After 90 days, the Artist can renew the agreement (space permitting) or pick up unsold pieces within 14 days. Uncollected artwork after 14 days will be considered donated and may be given away to gallery patrons. Your Details. Art Consignment: Terms & Conditions Submitting the Artist Sign-Up form does not constitute the beginning of any agreements and will only act as an intake channel. Art submitted in the upload field will act as a sample of the artist work, Co-Space will not use the submitted original artwork or it's likeness without explicit consent from the artist. If selected, the Co-Space Art Gallery will sell the artworks at a retail price no lower than the agreed upon range specified at the creation of the agreement. Co-Space and the artist will agree on the gallery's commission set for the retail price of the artwork. Both parties must agree to any change to the retail price or the gallery's commission in advance. In the event the piece does not sell within the agreed upon time, the artist can choose for the piece to be returned or to renew the contract. In the unforeseen event of accidental damage or theft of the piece, the artist agrees to not hold Co-Space legally or financially liable. We love & respect our local artist!
