About the event
Remember when swapping clothes & items was a regular thing we all did? You got a bag of clothes from your cousin. Your church had tables full of things people didn't need anymore. Somebody cleaned out their closet and before anything got thrown away, the first question was, “Anybody want this?”
Somewhere along the way, we stopped doing that. Sooooo we're bringing it back! Shop or Swap is a community marketplace for regular people and their perfectly good stuff. Clothes or shoes you don't wear anymore, bags, books, home decor, kids' stuff, household items and all those things you've been saying you're going to get rid of. Bring it to Co-Space and sell it, swap it, or give it away. Then walk around and see what somebody else brought. Register your nonprofit for the Shop or Swap After-Party and give our leftover goods a new home! Approved 501(c)(3) organizations can come at the end of the event and take any remaining donated items that can benefit their organization or the communities they serve.
